I need to be able to batch process an operation within photoshop that involves (amongst other things) cutting a page of text in half (cutting horizontally at about the halfway point). The page is a single layer pdf of a scanned, not ocr'd, page of text. The problem I have is how to avoid cutting a line of text in half. I toyed with OCRing and leaving the original image as the top layer, using the hidden ocr image as a guide as to line breaks but I'm still struggling. Any ideas, pointers, suggestions, brainstorms will be welcome.
