Hi All,

I have recently moved approx 500 sip sets off a mcs5100 onto our cs1k. The MCS5100 had provisions to end a call after about 6-8 rings and I'm not sure if I can replicate the same on our pbx without affecting more than just the 500 sip sets.

My most recent attempt was to call forward no answer each set to an ACD with ncfw to our Callpilot which had an app with SDN = the ACDN. The app is set to play a system message and end the call. It works great except that the originally dialed dn is forwarded to Callpilot rather than the ACDN as I expected. With 500 sets I am not willing to create a SDN for each.

Is there a way to continue down the Callpilot app path or is there another (hopefully simpler) way to achieve what I want?

Thanks,

Joel

I'm considering forwarding to a MIRAN port. Not sure how that will work but if anyone has better options please let me know.

Thanks

I am guessing you do not use voicemail for the extensions. If not you good set the all the appropriate call forwards to call pilot it will then send the caller to voicemail and play the message you have been forwarded to a mailbox unfortunately this user does not subscribe and then cut them off. The other option might be to find the vbk make a copy of the goodbye prompt save the existing subscriber message and change the name of the copied goodbye prompt to the subscriber prompt.

Thanks,
Colin
