Cut from a specified point

Can you cut from a specified point and then work backwards.
eg.
240109603749 3615 3615 D P 0 N
85157523749 3616 3616 D P 0 N
176456503749 3617 3617 D P 0 N

The 3749 is constant at the end of field one. I need to work back from 3749 and grep the pid number before the 3749.
