Cut and paste PDF Files

I have supplied to me a document in a PDF file format, that i wish to cut and paste some of the information out and use for other purposes. However, the cut and paste option has been disabled and i cannot see a way around this. The file come to me through our intranet, so i cannot save it somewhere and play with it, i dont think. Is there a way around my problem? Thank you for your help already.

Sorry but I do believe the person that created the PDF file has stopped you from doing this, by disabling your ability to 'Selecting Text and Graphics'. The only way is if you know the password and you have Adobe Acrobat the full program not the reader. If you can't fix it in 20 call someone who can.
