Cut and paste do not work

Windows 95 / Office 97

I had a crash and reinstalled Win95 and Office 97.
Problems:
1) NTKERN.vxd file could not be read on startup: already solved.

2) I cannot "drag and drop" or "cut and paste" in the Office applications (Word, Excel and so on), by the other applications it seems to work.

No I haven't !!! That means : I have reinstalled WIN 95 and
Office "over" the old installation.

Any problem with them ?

Nope, that's not it, azzurri.

It's just something that needs to be done from time to time anyway, but especially after your PC crashes, it can have bad behavior.

Also, reinstall of Office does not fix any registry problems that might be present. You must uninstall, use Eraser (97 version is here:

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q176/8/23.ASP

and then reinstall for proper fixes to registry.

At this point, if I were you, I'd clean up the hard drive (I see you've already emailed), and if it still doesn't work, uninstall/erase/reinstall Office.
