Is there any way to cut from one file and paste into another file at pre defined co-ords instead of pasting it to the same position as it was cut?

hey,
figgy132
can u specify the corel draw version and also what tupe of file u cut from..(for ex: is it a shape or image or font ..)

Its coreldraw version 11 but have tried in draw version 9 aswell with no joy.Version 5 lets me import to the top left corner of the page which is the only useful place to me really.then i just use nudge to move it to predefined spaces. I don't want to keep using version 5 for this as it is old and very unstable on these PCs.
It is a basic shape with a small image in the centre with some text wrapped around shape ie. circle

TIA
