Cut & Paste losing characters

We are using FPD2.6 applications on WindowsXP machines and are having problems pasting copied text from Windows apps (eg. notepad).

When pasting, characters go missing - So I often end up with numerous errors.

I've turned "Fast Pasting" off and decreased the "Idle sensitivity" in the foxpro apps PIF file but I still don't get 100% success (although it does improve matters)

Did not have this problem in W98/95 etc.
The computers are P4 1.8Ghz with 512Mb RAM

Can anyone help???

Sorry, each Virtual Dos Machine has its own
Cut/Paste buffer, distinct from Windows.
Save (Win) "cut" to file, and it Cut/Paste in VDM...

Yes, cutting between windows & dos apps is not an issue. The problem is that, when pasting into FPD apps (by right-clicking on the title bar and choosing EDIT then PASTE), there is data loss.

eg.
"The fat brown cat" cut from notepad might become
"Th fat rown cat" in Foxpro/dos

This seems to be a WinXP/2000 problem.
