CUSTOMIZING THE FURRY BRUSH?

Hi there tek tip community,
this is my first post here- got a question about painter 9's furry brush:

Is it possible to adjust the furry brush in order to be more shaggy? I tried customizing this brush in the standard way, but I'm not able to get a shaggy look the hair looks much to fine and clean.
Can anybody help?
