Requirement 1: we need to create a module which when installed will replace the standard header of Livelink to display Sample text like "Test Header" and header row should have different BGCOLOR and should change the font to "verdana" for all contents displayed within Livelink

If anyone can provide any hint to accomplish this will be really helpful.

Thanks in advance
Pranav

What good will it do.anybody who knows how to manouver inside IE or netscape has full control of how the fonts/colors etc should be displayed.Aren't you better off accomplishing this by using an xslt(xml) kind of transformation for LLobjects at the client side. For example in IE you can set to ignore fonts specified by web pages etc

There's lot of sample work at which shows you different methods of accomplishing different aesthetics on your presentation
If you want to checkout XML with LL check my faq at

You can certainly modify the template as shown in the links provided by the previous poster, adding the category is a lot more complex as there will be cases where you want/dont want it shown etc.
