Hi there,

I was wondering if it's possible to modify the destination filename you use for scheduling a report.
Of course I can use the variables like SI_STARTTIME and so on. But I want either add my own varaibles or at least modify the way how the variables (like SI_STARTTIME) are processed.

Is there a way to do that? I assume a sollution (if there is any) would include modifying some of the jsp files. (I have a TomCat installation) But even a sollution for a .NET installation would be fine for me.

Any help is greatly apreciated.
Thx
S.

ps: the BO Support says its not possible, but that means nothing!

While I don't know how to achieve this in CE, if this is an important issue for you, consider a 3rd-party report scheduler. See list of such Report Managers at:
In my Visual CUT software, this is a simple matter of placing a field or a formula in the RH, RF, GH1, or GF1 report sections. Such fields/formula become available for drag&drop into the export file name (as well as into many other option such as email attachment, subject, email to, etc.).
