Hi,
I'm using Accpac 6.0 PU1.
I would like to know if there's a possibility to hide some fields on the Order Entry Detail Screen.
It is possible to do it with SDK?
Thank you for your support.

Thomas

Yes, you don't need the SDK.
Login as ADMIN, open the OE screen and click File, Customize....

Thank you Dear Ettienne for your input.
But I'm talking about ITEM/Tax screen. The one used to enter items for an order.
Thank you in advance.

This will not prevent the end-user to unhide the column if he wants.

99% of users will never figure that out. So what's the big concern about showing data on the screen?

Mainly two concerns :
- on the item/tax screen for Order Entry, the user can change the price list.
- on the item/tax screen for Shipment Entry, the user can modify the extended price.

Your next course of action is to write a macro that encapsulates the order entry screen and within the code of the macro disable/hide the fields that you don't want the users to have access to.

Thank you DjangMan.
Can you please guide me on how to do it.
Just a sample of code.
Thank you in advance.

Search this forum for OnUIAppOpened and you'll see a bunch of threads that should get you started. If you get stuck then post any questions that you have.

Thank you.
After the code, how can I run it to Accpac ?
Thank you in advance.
