hello,

I downloaded the access version of mvps.org. This is a database full of useful access tips.

I added my own logfile with interesting threads I find here.

this one will be added once I have an answer to this question.

How customize the toolbar?

There is a toolbar named mnuFRmmain.

This toolbar is set in the properties of the form main.

I want to customize this toolbar. I tried using View -> toolbars -> Customize.
I can call the properties of this menu item, but I can't modify its design.

I displayed the menu items, and in the table MSysCmdbars the values are stored, but can't be modified:

Grptbcd TbName
Access Web Shortcut
Custom Popup 1616
Custom Popup 1617
Custom Popup 1618
mnuMain
mnuMain_File
mnuMain_Netiquette
mnuMain_Resources
mnuMain_Search
mnuMain_Topics
mnuMainFile
mnuReport
mnuReport_File
tbarAccessWeb
tbReport

Does anyone know how to change the design of a built in menu or toolbar?

Thank you for your help.

Then Just Click on the Menu after opening toolbox ->Customize

Select the ToolBars Tab
Select the required menubar
Click the checkbox and set it on
goto Commands Tab
Pull a type of menu from there and drop in the menu bar u like
