Customize Main Portal site

I would like to customize the Main Portal with our Company color scheme. I tried using Frontpage 2003 themes but get 'This feature is not available for use with this web site template'.
Any ideas how I can customize the theme of the Main Portal site?

Hi sgwisby. You would have to accomplish this with style sheets. You want to be careful how you do this, because changing the main style sheets will effect more than one page. The following article is really helpful:
