We have BOE XI R2 running internally with a Web component on an external web server. Users connect through trusted authentication.

If I log on to the internal version of Infoview, I can customize my Infoview just fine and save the changes. However, when I log on through the web server using the trusted authentication the changes do not hold when I try to save the customized Infoview. On subsequent logins I am brought to the default page for BOE.

Question, is there something I'm missing on the web server side that would cause the changes to not be saved? Thanks.

Are you running just the raw XI R2 version or do you have any service packs and/or fix packs installed? I think I remember having this type of issue early-on when we first implemented XI R2.

I also know that we had problems changing preferences when some of the Application Security settings for InfoView were changed for the Everyone group. You have to specifically have the "Edit This Object" right Explicitly Granted for the InfoView application in order to be able to edit your preferences.
