Hi,

we're using Accpac 5.5. and want to move Accpac to a new server.
We've set up customization directories for our reports.
After the move I assume Accpac will point to the default report again and every user is required to pick the customized report once before Accpac remembers it.

Is there a way of saving every user to pick the customized report? Copying user folders and *.ism files didn't seem to help. Do I have to log on for every user and chose reports manually?

Setup Customization Directories in Accpac and put the report in a custom folder.

Yes, I've set up customization directories already and copied my report in there but every user will still have to browse to my custom directory when choosing the report for the first time, correct?

Is there a way of doing this for the user instead? I could logon as every user but since this is similiar to user preferences I was hoping I could simply copy it from one use rto another.

ok, but thats not really a great way, is it?
Plus if a user hits the browse button, they end up in the base directory, not my custom folder.

Room for improvement here me thinks...

If the custom name is the same as a base name, even when they select the report in the base folder, it uses the custom version.

If the custom name is different than the base name, copy it to the base folder.

As tuba says, make your custom report name the same as the standard report name and the problem goes away.
