Customise MYSIte Template

Hi,

I have serveral users of Sharepoint 2007 who each have their own mysite. Currently this is the default mysite provided with sharepoint.

I am looking to customise the mysite template to add addittional lists etc.

Does anybody know how I can either
1. Customise the mysite template or
2. Upload a new site template to replace the existing mysite template


With regard to the mysite also,

Is there a way to change the location of personal mysites.

Currently when somebody clicks on mysite their site is located under Servername/personal/username.

I want their sites to be subsites to a main site
i.e servername/MainSite/username

or servername/MainSite/Personal/username would be fine also.

If anybody could help me with either/both of these questions I would very much appreciate it.
