Situation:

- MD110 BC11 with GS
- 5 lims at 5 different sites
- on every site there is a security-person with its own emergency number (so far with a normal dts)

Problem:

- 5 different emergency-numbers

Goal:

- an unique common emergencynumber in whole system
- If internal user dials it, he should go to the security-person of its own site!

ideas?

I see only one solution :

TLU79-Loop with emergency number as dest and use ROCDI to route call towards correct extension. this means offcourse that each lim represents one CUST.

daddy: rocdi - very interesting command and seldom used, and it is worth to discuss!

1. Do I need (independent from Traffic) one TLU79 for the whole System or one Board per cust? (Means: separated channels for each cust or commonly used channels for all custs?)

2. If I make roddi:dest=55555 - which srt/pre/trc should I use? (Which digits should be received by MD after loop? Normally no digits, because the called number is stated in rocdi - but can it be?!) Or is it related to numtyp=od?

3. Do I have to use the cust-Bits D6-D8 in sel of rocai? (where else can MD receive a cust-info from a line, or is it a feature transmitted via QSIG?!) In last case it would make sense, that all extension of one site will get the same own cust.

4. And what, if customer tells me: Ok. Use the normal external line for loop, because emergencycalls are so rare, that we can accept the charging-cost.

you see, I´m still confused...

Hi Larl,

1)you just need 2 TLU79 boards for internal loop, it is not cust related as we will have one ROU per board.

2) not sure about this, I think empty number is fine, that way we go direct to rerouting number (in your case ROCDI position for specific cust)

anyway, I was just thinking of something else, with a loop you can specify what dest you take for each cust. since you're speaking of external loop this should work :

I assume your DID number range is 5559xxxx

cust 1 is for LIM 1, emergency ext 5550
cust 2 for LIM 2, emergency ext 5551 and so on...
in this case I also assume that 0 is defined as ED in NADAP

RODDI:DEST=5555,TRC=4,CUST=1,PRE=055595550,SRT=2;
RODDI:DEST=5555,TRC=4,CUST=2,PRE=055595551,SRT=2;
RODDI:DEST=5555,TRC=4,CUST=3,PRE=055595552,SRT=2;
RODDI:DEST=5555,TRC=4,CUST=4,PRE=055595553,SRT=2;
RODDI:DEST=5555,TRC=4,CUST=5,PRE=055595554,SRT=2;

cheers,

Daddy

The thing you want works well with the emergency number to pbx operator.
(NANSI:NUMTYP=OE,NUMSE=;)
Then in conjunction with Corg and Cust (Command OPCTS) your goal can be reached.

summerdike, I agree with you but for this you need operator,
lalr spoke only about digital ext...

maybe this works:

I create nansi:numtyp=oe,numse=5555; Then I create 5 corgs with calt=0 and cust 1-5. Then I do not make opcgs. Instead I will set 5 rernums with opadc. Maybe so calls from ext with right cust come to the right dts...?!

It 's worth trying.
