Customer has old Partner with a 4.1 Processor, 1 206 card ver. 4.1, 1 206 card ver 2.1, 1 Partner Mail VS ver. 3.0
Anyway owner has his own manual and VM cheat sheet.
He messed with the programming recently. He left the country as of today so I have not spoken with him .

Anyway AA answers all calls, incoming callers then dial Ext number . It is now set a 4 rings, however previously I had it set set to 2 rings.

In this case, Ext. 18 is secretary for 2nd business, so she gets many incoming calls routed to her after incoming dials thru AA.
Now when a call comes to her, she tries to access call, but gets a European police siren style warble in her ear.
She CAN make outgoing calls. Please help and advise. Thanks

That audible indication is called "error tone"!

How is she trying to "access the call" by call pickup, answering a ringing line, or? Could have a bad phone or port... You might try swapping them and use process of elimination to isolate the problem.

Today the customer is saying the tones in her ear are DTMF tones, after the call is routed from AA to Ext 18
Partner Mail VS Ver. 3.0

Also Ext.18 cannot log in to VM box from her phone SOMETIMES

The extension has been assigned to hunt group 7. The DTMF is the mode codes that tell an actual voice mail port how to treat a call. Go through hunt group 7, and make sure that only the VM ports are assigned.

Tommy, I am amazed again at your level of expertise.
Thank you!
