We have a requirement in getting a customer count in the cube using IBM DB2 OLAP Server which is not an additive measure. Has somebody worked on how to load data in all levels of the cube and not to be calculated. We have a solution by having defined the dimensions as parent/child and then having the combinations in the fact table and the count. This solution is very complicated and also has lot of limitations. The limitations we face, to build the fact table we need to use rollup query of the db2. Db2 does not allow more than 3 rollups in a query and says the query is too complicated and it cannot imagine all the possible combinations. If anybody had faced such a problem and had solved it, Can you please let me know the solution.
