Hi,

I have a customer in the UK who have a recently installed ISDN30 circuit provided by BT and an AVAYA IPO running on the latest software version.

They used to have an old BT Norstar system with analogue trunks and used to use *21 services to put a n exchange level divert outwith office hours which diverted all incoming calls to a mobile. The CLI of the originating party was displayed on the mobile whilst the divert was in place.

Since the installation of the ISDN30 / IPO the main office number shows up while the phone system is on divert. I understand why this is the case - because the PBX is not a trusted source to pass through CLI etc etc...

BT have advised that we can use "Customer Conrtolled Call Forwarding" on the ISDN30 which essentially allows us to implement an exchange level divert again which will pass throught the CLI. Is anyone familiar with this on an IPO? Is this compatible with an IPO and if so what commands does the IPO need to send to the line to activate the service and how would I configure this?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

This is all information Bt will need to tell you, it's a BT service you are talking about nothing to do with the system :)

you cant use star services or CCCF with an IPO, the DTMF isn't "heard" by the device in the exchange that enables the forwarding due to the way the IPO works. We have had customers who had this issue, and in the end we put a SIP trunk in, so the calling parties CLI could be forwarded, because BT cant / wont seem to get their shit together and make it work on their network from a CPE perspective.
