custom web part question

I am designing a web part that contains a PageViewerWebPart control. I then created a web part page with 1 web part zone to display the web part. How can I get the PageViewerWebPart to take up 100% of the web part zone. I tried setting the height and width to "100%", but that doesn't seem to work.
Any thoughts would be great.

have you tried to do it manually with sharepoint designer? then you can replicate this though out the rest of your site collections using ECHO... hope is not too late.
