Ok so, I just purchased a TZ SOHO for my company and I am trying to get it connected to my AWS VPC. I have the tunnel up with a green light and all seems well. Problem is, when i go to add a route when it comes to the Interface option my tunnel isn't in there, the following are my options:

--Select an Interface--
Create VPN Tunnel interface...
X0
X1
W0
====VPN Tunnel Interface====
Drop_TunnelIf

And that's it. I have talked to AWS support and they say when they usually see this it's because the vpn is a site to site and not a tunnel but he confirmed something seems off. I don't have a support contract with sonicwall so i can't call them and before i drop the money on a contract i thought i would ask around.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you taken a look at the sonicwall technote for setting up aws vpc? Here is the guide.

Are you trying to do setup a dynamic route based or a static policy based vpn? It sounds like you have it configred as a static policy vpn but your trying to do a dynamic route based vpn.

I wish I could be of more help however I only have experience setting up a vpn to Azure.

Regardless goodluck!
