Custom Toolbar Gone after Exiting

Running Word 2002. After I customize the tool bar for the Normal.dot default if I exit word I lose all changes. Also, if I make a custom tool bar for Normal.dot once I exit Word the tool bar is gone and no longer listed for selection. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Hi Mike,

If you lose all your changes it is because they have not been saved (or, possibly, not saved where you thought).

Assuming you have authority, explicitly save Normal.dot before exiting Word (you can do it through the VBE) and see if that makes a difference.
