Custom start up jobs

When we use websphere for our app we use vertical clones where several instances of websphere use the same codebase and configuration. I am trying to find a way of associating custom start up jobs(java based) with each clone such that when the websphere is started the execution of those jobs are triggered automatically. Does anyone have a solution for this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
