Under Preferences>Smart Guides and Slices>Angles.
I never could get the custom angles to snap to other than 90° and 45°.
Anyone know how to do this?

Also, if you want to slant the constrian angle of the whole document (to tilt the horizon), you can set this under the General tab.

Thanks for the pic but I know about that panel. But my settings never take effect on the artboard. Always 90° and 45°.
If I turn on smart guides, It will show the new angles set only if I move a point around but never if I want to constrain-rotate. Doesn't make sense. I there some key I should be holding other than shift?
Does the same thing in my CS2 install as well.

I see, you really need specifically to constrain, not just a text label hint or smart guide or snap-to function. OK. I don't think there's a direct way to do this, but why not write some actions for repeatedly used increments, name them appropriately and run the actions to rotate stuff.

The other way is Object>Rotate>Ok> CRTL-DDDDDD.

So what does the Angles panel do anyway?
