Custom reports with CDR

Just curious if anyone out there has created their own SQL scripts to generate phone reports from CDR.

It's always troublesome for the folks here who have to pull reports because they're not exactly tech savvy and these reports are still somewhat confusing to me after working with them for 5 years.

Is it possible to build custom SQL scripts to pull what info we'd like to see from CDR and only the info we'd like to see? Anyone got any links or somekind of info on how I might go about this? I think it's (CDR database) still all in SQL in version 6.x of CUCM, so if I can just figure out how to access it all, I think there's a way I can pull custom reports.

wow, I take back what I said there in the first post, it isn't SQL, it's Informix. duh

Is there an admin for this thing though?? I just hate knowing it's there and I can't access it except through the cisco provided tools!
