Hello Everyone,
I wanted to register custom hotfixes to a specific registry key and have SMS inventory this key and obtain all the patch information.
For testing, I added a dummy entry to the registry of a test machine (advanced client), amended the SMS_def.MOF file, and replicated the changed MOF file to the rest of the SMS hierarchy.
I refreshed the advanced client policy afterwards to occurr in one hour, and I then went to the resource explorer a day later for the test machine and the registry key had still not been reported on.
I verified the syntax of the MOF file several times and I am not sure what the problem is.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Matt
