I have to print a custom check 8.5 x 8.5 on a dot matrix printer. The printer dialog doesn't show custom size, just the normal letter, a4, etc. So how do I do it??

I will be answering my own question on this one.
In order to use a custom size page on a printer that doesn't have that as a page option, you can create a custom size that will show in the printers dialog box.
If you have Windows XP or Windows 2000 just go to the control panel and pull up the printers. Highlight your printer. The go to the File menu for that window and choose Server properties. This will bring up a screen where you can set up a custom form. Just fill in the sizes and a new name for the form, the click the save form button. The new size form will appear in the printers dialog box now!!
