Hi,

I need to write a custom HTML for custom page footer- based on the Report file name (&Report) in MSTR Web 7.5. For example -

if the Report Name is "RPT11 - MSTR Report" - then the custom Page footer should display "RPT11", i.e., first 5 (fixed #) characters off of the Report File Name.

Can any one suggest a custom HTML, which can be written to get this? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Okay, I don't have 7.5 yet, so this is probably a guess. Do you see your report name on the URL? If so you are in luck. All you need to do is use the right ASPx/JSP syntax to call it, then display it. If you don't see your report name, and only see your report ID, it will be a little trickier. You will perhaps need a new style to transform the folder bean, or perhaps use a combination of ASPx/JSP function with the existing transform output, since your modification is simply trimming. Good luck - you should be able to figure this out by the SDK book.
