Does anyone have experience creating custom programs specifically based on the P4210 or P4310? If, for example, you create a copy and call it P554210. This new program still looks at the P4210 processing options. Does anyone know where to change this so it looks at the P554210 processing options?

I have created custom P4210's for the various R47011 updates we use for EDI. Create new P4210's (with custom processing options) through Interactive Versions (fast path: IV) then specify it by name in the processing options of R47011. What you need to do sounds similar.

Have you created a Version for your new program? You can access version lists by typing VL on the command line then put in your program ID.
Then have you created a new CL job Jxxxxxx or do you want the existing job to call your P554210 then if I remember rightly, there is a bit of code that calls the processing options from the Version List...you need to make sure it is using your new program and version id in the parameters.
Just a guess!
