Custom New Page Sizes

I do a lot of design for envelopes and was wondering if there was a way to set up more selections of page sizes to appear in the new page dialog. For instance, a #10 envelope has the dimentions of 9.5" x 4.125" and is panoramic in page direction. Can I set this up?

There's no way to add a new page size to that doc setup menu in ID2. You can change which of the built in sizes shows up in your New Doc dialog by default, but you can't anything new to that list in ID2.

So would this be a possible "plug-in" of some sort that could be written? I'd give it a go (in Mac anyway) if there was some way to get info on developing that sort of thing.

Hi Kyle, the InDesign SDK is on every product CD, so if you have ID you have some info. Also, at

you'll find a list of developer programs.

It would be possible to do this via plug-in.
