Can anybody help with custom maps.

We are going to build our custom maps shortly and we would like to know if there is any backup if our openview database becomes corrupt.

For example if our alarm database has become corrupt and the only real fix was to re install HP Openview.
Could we export our custom maps and import them once we have re installed the software.

If the alarm database corrupted, you can delete the database only. No need to reinstall HPOV. Event Database, Topology Database and Map are individual components (db files) in HPOV.
