Just put an icon named : 'favicon.ico' in your root directory or use a reference to it in the head tags :

<LINK REL=&quot;SHORTCUT ICON&quot; HREF=&quot;[/code]

It only works in IE though (at least I think so I havn't tested it in netscrap) Regards

The only way a shortcut icon appears on a user's Favorites menu and Address bar is if the user chooses to add your page as a favorite.

1. Create an icon
2. Add this code to your head:
<HEAD>
<LINK REL=&quot;SHORTCUT ICON&quot;
HREF=&quot; <TITLE>My Title</TITLE>
</HEAD>

Also this does only work in IE 5.0 or later (could have been in a late 4.x), but wont work in netscrape unless recently added to the latest version.

There are also some very stringent rules to image size and no of pixels allowed , check od microsoft knowledge base on &quot;favicon&quot; for more info.
