M1 E1 5000
M1 E2 2500
M2 E3 5000
M3 E4 3000

So In the report i need the output like
---------------------------------------
Manager: M1
E1 5000
E2 2500
Manager: M2
E3 5000
Manager: M3
E4 3000

------------------------------------------
So no how do i define the custom group for the manager ???
I need your help. Please help me out

NAREN

Manager doesn't need to be a custom group, it needs to be an attribute that is a parent of Employee. Modeling it this way will force the group by that you are looking for. You should look into using the tree view (outline mode) for this report, it appears to be the format in which you want to view the data.
