Custom Group banding and filter

Hello,

is there any way to combine custom group banding and filter?
The problem: I created a custom group using banding. The report has a filter on the same attribute the custom group level is definied on. The custom group is calculated without the filter's condition. The filter condition is joined in the last SQL pass. I tried to implemente the filter in the custom group, but this is not allowed.
Any ideas?

What kind of filter is this? As far as i know, you can definitely apply filters in custom group.

Custom Group Banding Qualification, Band on Metric value, Metric with running sum,Band Size with steps.
Error when filter (filter on attribute, attribute is also calculating level for custom group)is applied to custom group:
Banding cannot be combined with Filter in Custom Group.
