My client upgraded from Windows 98 to XP and a macro that uses the Customer custom form AR1300 triggers the following error:

This application is about to initialize Active X controls that might be unsafe. If you trust the source of this file, select OK and the controls will be initialized using your current workspace setup.

The client is running Accpac 5.0 on a Windows XP workstation.

I'm guessing it's a registry setting but I haven't been able to find anything on either the Accpac or Microsoft sites.

A point in the right direction would be most appreciated.

I would guess this would be a setting in the internet explorer settings for that workstation. There are a number of settings relating to ActiveX controls and the like.. My guess would be to go to tools|Internet options and to the security tab and then to the custom level button and ENABLE the setting 'Initialize and Script ActiveX controls not marked as safe'

Just a guess.. ;)
