custom countdown timer 1

I'm looking for help on developing a countdown timer with only minutes and seconds - but the time shouldn't be pre-entered into the actionscript.

I want users to be able to enter a time in a text field (either a component, or probably easier with a dynamic text box), i.e. 5 minutes and 30 seconds, and to start based on that time. And, of course, a reset button.

I'd appreciate any help on this! Thanks
