Custom Caledar Problem

Hi,
I have been trying this for a while now and it just occured to me someone may already have a solution.
I'm trying to create a custom calendar or at least customise the existing calendar control in such a way that it can read data from a table of agenda for example and display little icons or signs on the calendar to show which days have activities sheduled at what time etc.

What you want is called an event calendar. See:

I've been using this for over 5 years. Modified it to handle 12 departments to show dates with different colors signifying situations and showing dates with department names.

You can also store messages for certain dates.

But look through the coding for the above database. Try to modifiy it and then post any questions.
