I know that you can change the background color of the movie under Properties.. But I need a custom color.. I've got the hex code and the RGB code but I can't manualy change the color that I can find... Old, I know you know.. If anyone knows I know you know... And thanks for the address... I did get in touch with her.. Hope to hear from you smart guys soon.... Thanks.... Melocco.(Daisy to the older group)..................

Just set the parameters in the object an embed tag. This is also quite cool.
<PARAM name=&quot;wmode&quot; value=&quot;transparent&quot;>
;-)

mel the best way i found to change to the exact color that you want, is to just change the color manually in the html body tag and the embeded tag..works well..old says you can change the color in flash but i couldn't get it to work..so i just change it from the html..

remember both tags..

Guess I'll have to make a tutorial on designing your own colors guys!
Meanwhile Carl's solution will work!

hmmm, there is an echo in here, and someone likes the sound of their own voice - no?

Oooops! Forgot to use the transparent mode!
Must have some activeX controls missing!
Sorry about that!

Thanks everyone.. But I don't think I made it clear what I wanted to know.. I need to change THE color of the BG color to match the BG color... So in other words I need to know how to change the color of the Flash Background to a other color.. The Hex code is: #fdebbb the RGB is: red:253 green:235 Blue:187 The only way I've found in flash to change the back ground color is through the Movie Propertiys..

And I didn't say anything about fighting... Come on now... Virt, you've been around long enough to know that fighting is a no no... Look what happened to me with what's his face.. I'd still like to take a little out of his a $ $ but I know if I do I'll be stuck right back where I was before... By the way Virt.. If you get a chance, drop me a line.. I've got a little gift for you if you'd like to have it..

Thanks.... And you guys play nice... Melocco..........
