Curving picture on shape 1

Can anyone point me in the direction to a tutorial on how to put a picture of a tattoo etc. on a curved surface such as a body.

In the book I think the name is Phototshop 7 down and dirty tricks there is a technique that shows you how to wrap a picture or texture around an image. It takes a metal chrome section from one image and applies it to a guys face in another image. It is very effevtive and sounds like it would work for what you want to do.

Filters>Distort>Shear can make a rectangular image look cylinrical on the X axis. You can rotate your canvas temporarily to get a shear on the Y axis.

The Diplacement map filter might be worth looking into for this task.
