CursorLocation and CLOB datatype

oracle 8i database table got clob datatype. When i query the table, i get the column data cropped after some characters.

if i comment the line, "oConn.CursorLocation = 3", i am getting complete data.

why is this happening,,, i am using the oracle oledb provider for connection.
