Hi there

I want to replace the standard mouse-cursor with my own one. Yes, I do know about Mouse.hide() and _root._xmouse and so on.

But Mouse.hide() doesn't seem to work over textboxes and links; because out of nothing theres this ][ when moving over a textbox and a little hand when moving over a link. That's quite a mess I think.

Can I turn these off too?

Thanx for a hint

You have to make sure your cursor clip is on the top layer Regards

No work-around that I know of ... it's so that the user knows there is text available for editing. The best you can do would be to hide your custom pointer when you move into a textfield area - at least that way there would ONLY be the I-bar.
