I have a form which synchronizes two combo boxes: the contents of box 2 depend on the selection made in box 1. This has been working perfectly, and I haven't modified anything in the form for several weeks.
Today I opened the form to check something, and now the cursor will not move past box 1. I can change the value in that combo box repeatedly, but nothing else on the form is active except the Close button. After I hit Close, first I get an error saying that Access may have encountered an error while trying to save the record. If I then click 'Yes - close object anyway' I get 2 occurrences of an error saying 'The expression On Exit you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: Statement invalid outside Type block'.
I know that no one else has been in messing with this, and I know I haven't changed anything. I do know that our IT department installed some MS security patches last week, right before I started having problems. Is there any chance there's a problem with incompatible versions? I know I saw info about this error indicating that you might need at updated Microsoft Jet engine.
TIA,
Sheila
