Cursor problem

one query : if a program calling db procedure losses connection with the database, then what will happen to the cursors not closed in the db procedure. Will there be any problem due to open cursors on the server?

Please help .
 
in theory, SMON process tidies up after failed sessions, while it is not foolproof it does clean up as best it can. I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
