Cursor problem - Urgent please

I'm using DirectMediaXtra to play a mpeg movie, and after my video finish, I open an interface with some buttons. My problem is my cursor commands don't work and the cursor doesn't change. If I delete the video the command works.

What is the problem? There is some solution for this?
