I am using @1,10 SAY "something" GET ANYTHING ... READ for data entry.
It worked fine in FoxPro for DOS but since we moved to VFP 9 the cursor is very thin (difficult to view) and users get confused in what field the cursor (pointer) is.
Is there a way the cursor (caret, pointer) to become bigger, for better visibility in VFP 9?
Thank you,

Hi,
I would rather make the backcolour something else than white or light-grey when you have the focus on your textbox. this is more according to standards and would not advise you to change window settings in your application, since that would effect all other applications on that pc as well.

You're bucking the DOS vs. Windows difference. There are very real differences. Windows simply does NOT work the way DOS did.

You should get away from @...GET entirely. There's a reason it's documented as "for backwards compatibility only". That means it won't blow things up, but it isn't the right way to do things. Having said that, even in DOS the best way to show a user which field they were editing was the READ COLOR clause. (I know it won't throw errors, but I have no idea if it will still work since I haven't tried it since the early 1990s.)
