Currently, i'm using MD110 BC9, all the power supply, directly tapped from common 240 volt AC power. The problems always arise when there are power trips at my premises. Prblems such as faulty power card, MD110 failed to reload once power resumes always happen. we're using maintenance free battaries for our backup.

Does anybody have an idea/suggest , the best protection equipment for our MD110.

It certainly wouldn't harm to put a UPS on there - if nothing else it would extend your run time in the event of a power failure and if you're getting transient spikes as well as black or brown outs, it'll offer you protection against that too.

Is the power quality issue down to your actual supply, or internal issues ? Might be worth talking to your sparkies to get you a clean power feed on it's own DB so that it's not taken out by the MD's toaster getting wet in the office along the corridor.

We have experienced here the same problem for about 10 out of 110 nodes.
We use MD110 batterypack and are shipping UPS for the nodes having this problem.
But we are in the start of putting out ISO Trafo's for all the MD110:s . Then we should get rid of the problems once and for all.
We are thinking of using Noratel , .

If you want transient protection with UPS you need the most expensive UPS:s as the cheapest ones only have batterypack and not so good transient attenuation. And again , batterypack in UPS is not what we need , we need the protection for overvoltage in the powernet.

Hope this helps you .
