Hello,

I am using Simpana V8, is there a way to tell what tape is currently being used while a backup job is running?

In the Job Controller window, open the Job Details. Then click 'View Media' at the bottom of the window.

Also, the tape (or tapes - depending on the amount of streams chosen for the Storage Policy) that is used ie the 'active media' has a blue/white icon as seen from the Storage Resources point of view.
