How can I pull the current hardware profile on the machine running my Access database?
I have users that may be using the database on laptops in the field with dial-up access only. I want to prevent them from synchronization over dial-up and force them to only synchronize over the LAN connection. I already have written code to read from the registry so I just need to know the location in the registry to determine the hardware profile.
Users:
Access: Access 2000, Access 2002
OS: NT 4.0, 2000 or XP
Thanks,
SATHandle
PS Estimate of synchronization time over dial-up: 2 1/2 hours...
definition of 'less behind': "not fully caught up, digging out slowly, one-week delay to "The IT hit the fan."
