Current Date of TPS File

I need to be able to check and see if a TPS file has been modified yet in the current date. Is there a way to pull the file's current date?

Hi!

Unluckily for TPS files, the Modified Date is updated EVEN if the file is opened in READ-ONLY mode and so there is NO way to find out if the file has been modified except by doing a CRC Checksum of the file's contents.

That's okay. I just need to get the TPS file date. Is there a function I can use?

Hi!

You could use the DIRECTORY() command OR use the GetFileDate() & GetFileTime() functions in CWUTIL.inc

Look in the help for DIRECTORY(), GetFileDate() & GetFileTime().
